verve's release sketch challenge A card

Tonight they had a sketch challenge before the release of their new stamp sets.  i got mine done a little too late, but i have to say it was fun.  My cards don't hold a candle to the ladies there, but i am trying.  The c/s is  b. burgundy SU, w. White SU, a. artichoke SU, and the d/p from michaels.  i used the nesties to cut the wreath(a case from Laurie at Just give me stamps), the flowers on the wreath from Verve's Harvest Blessings stamp set, the wreath is SU d/p. The ribbons are SU taffeta v. vanilla, and gg burgundy.  The buttons are also SU.  The sentiment is from All year cheer I, II or III.  Thanks for looking.  i don't get many hits and i really appreciate anyone looking.

This was the second sketch.  i think my favorite card that i made.  The c/s is s. suede, and w. white from SU.  The d/p from michaels.  The sentiment is from all year cheer I, II or III.  The ribbon is s. suede polka dot from SU and the button also.  The brads are v. vanilla.  i also used the cuttlebug dotted swiss emboss folder and the nesties for the sentiment. 

verve's release sketch challenge C card

This was the 3rd card sketch.  i used michaels papers for all my cards.  i loved going outside the box.  Fun to use other papers and not feel guilty.  The pointsettia was a cheap stamp i got a couple years back at michaels too.  The ribbon is a gold from there too.  The brads are gold from SU.  The c/s is SU gold , whisper white, and a. artichoke.  The sentiment is from the very versatile set from SU.

verve's release sketch challenge D card

this was the 4th of five card.  i used d/p from michaels, soft suede, gold, and dusty durango c/s.  The tree and sentiment is from the SU set called very versatile.  i used the dusty durango polka dotted ribbon with the dots on the other side as dots just didn't go.  The bottom ribbon is the dust durango and a gold ribbon from michaels.  i used nesties for the scalloped and gold square.  The leave was from a package of leaves i got several years ago. 

Card E from Verve's release sketch challenge

Used some d/p from Michaels.  i was a die hard SU fan but there are some beautiful designer papers out there.  i have even used acrylic stamps and they aren't half bad.  This used an SU set called pocket silhouettes.  i stamped it first with always artichoke and then with embossed gold.  The ribbon is SU bravo burgundy grosgrain 5/8"(i think)  Also used the lacey border punch from SU in choc. chip.  The button is SU and a 3/4 " circle is punched behind the button.  i tied gold cord in the button. 

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #40

this is the first time i have done her challenge.  Pretty pink, huh????  Well i had all these MS pointsettia stickers and thought i might get rid of some.  i have to say it looks better in real life.  Oh well.  TFL
